Program Outline
Our Montessori environment is divided up into several different areas: Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Arithmetic, and Culture (which includes: Art, Geography, and Science).
Montessori observed that when children grow up in an environment that is intellectually and artistically alive as well as warm and encouraging, the children will spontaneously ask questions, investigate, create, and explore new ideas. She found that children, especially when they are very young, are actually quite capable of absorbing information, concepts, and skills from their surroundings and peers almost through osmosis.
